Spec Check Europe was founded in 1992 to provide a comparative technical data service to the European construction equipment industry. More recently, we started to provide a similar service covering industrial forklift trucks. Data on machines available in North America can also be sourced from our affiliated company Spec Check US.

Spec Check Europe construction equipment data covers all makes and models of most types of mobile machinery on sale in Europe. At present, Spec Check industrial forklift truck data covers all types, makes and models on sale in the UK, but this will shortly be extended to include Europe.

All our data is obtained from manufacturers' specification sheets and similar sources, and is checked and updated continuously to ensure its accuracy and currency. Our data extraction is undertaken by engineers with extensive experience in the corresponding industries, and we believe we provide a service unmatched elsewhere, particularly by in-house facilities, which are invariably out-of-date.
